Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Will you do a free estimate?

A. Yes, I do free estimates and proposals for your graphic design job. You will not be charged for my time on this.

Q. Are your customers typically satisfied with the work you perform?

My wonderful customers are raving about my designs and pre-press work.

For example,

“Lindy has consistently understood, interpreted and met my expectations with great results. She’s fully committed to each and every assignment and provides valuable recommendations. She’s gone out of her way to be available when I need her, even on short notice. She’s a valuable asset to my team of resources.” – Kris N.

and

“…She was incredibly responsive and intuitive, giving me exactly what I was looking for and so much more.”
– Rumi F.

and for pre-press work:

“I have yet to find a Production Artist that comes close to Lindy. She has it all. She knows her stuff. She’s a detailed person with an eye for design. She’s extremely creative and uses her creativity to solve a problem so you won’t even know you had one. Plus her personality makes her a dream to work with.”
- Kristy W.

Q. How long does it take to complete a project?

A. It will vary upon how large or small a project is and we will go over the details and timeline when I give you a proposal. If, for any reason, a project will experience a delay, I’ll contact you as soon as possible.

Q: How do I know I’ll like the graphic design or project you do for me?

A. My graphic designs will work for you because I aim for 100% satisfaction. There will, however, be extra charges if I foresee more time needed to complete the project than the original estimate.

Q. How do I pay for the work?

A. I invoice through Paypal. I require 1/2 down and the other half upon completion of the project.

Q. What if it doesn’t work for me?

A. I’m confident you’ll love my work but if for any reason you don’t, we will discuss options for making it work for both of us.

Q. How will my graphic design work be delivered?

A. I take great pride in working in a timely manner. I try to make it easy for my valued customers to receive their files or printed materials.

If you are receiving printed pieces, I use USPS priority mail or Fedex and shipping will be included in the initial project estimate. If you live in the Sedro Woolley / Mt. Vernon area, I can hand deliver some jobs.

If you are requesting computer files, I can send them to you via email or I use Dropbox where you can download the files.

If you need help with mailing services for your project, let me know.

Q. Who do you use for printing if I need print work done?

A. I always get three quotes on printing whether it is a small or large project. I prefer to use local printers but I do use online printers as well. I use the best choice to complete beautiful work, on time and within budget.

Q. Can I take the files to a printer myself?

A. Yes, you may work with a printer yourself. However, I always suggest you understand the printing process and request a proof before the printer proceeds with printing the work.

Q. How can I contact you?

A. You can contact me through the contact page or call 928-458-5209 or email at lindy@artbylindy.com
